Pancakes (and waffles) are fun breakfast foods, especially when moms and dads use fun cookie-cutter shapes to design the breakfast item, but the syrup used on top is nothing but sugar. Try using chopped strawberries as a syrup-substitution. It’ll still taste sweet and have have a fun look to it, too.

6. In Sandwiches

7. Frozen

It’s a simple concept: just a frozen strawberry, but it’s a great option for snacking. It’ll take your kids longer to eat, which will cut down on their sugar-intake since they’re likely to eat less strawberries, but it’s also fun and very refreshing on hot summer days!

Making milkshakes at home is fun for the whole family and adding in strawberries not only gives your taste buds that yummy sweet taste but also boosts the health factor with the little red fruits’ natural dose of Vitamin C, Manganese, Fiber, Iodine, Folate, Copper, Potassium, Biotin, Magnesium, Vitamin B6, and Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Sweetness and good for you!
