About this recipe:
“I wanted to learn something new and make a healthy snack to go with carrots and other healthy foods.”
2 ripe avocados
½ cup salsa (red or green)
½ tablespoon lemon juice
pinch of salt and pepper
½ tablespoon lime juice
½ cup diced tomato
¼ cup chopped cilantro
Step 1: take 2 avocados and ask a parent to cut in half. Scoop out the inside and but in a bowl. Mix up the healthy green stuff.
Step 2: add ¼ cup salsa and mix
Step 3: squeeze in ½ tablespoon of lemon juice mix
Step 4: Optional, add a squeeze of lime juice, diced tomato and chopped cilantro
Serve with healthy chips or carrots or as a side to a burrito or taco meal.
