About the Chef

Prerna Polepally

Age: 13 – MD

Why is healthy cooking important to you?  Healthy cooking is very important to me as it is a basic skill I believe everyone needs to know. Once I grow up, I know I will be very busy but I plan on continuing to eat healthy. I was luck enough to have parents who were focused on nutrition from the beginning. I understand that eating healthy does not only make you physically better but it can also give you more strength and clarity mentally which is important to a growing child like me. I have been inspired to cook by my family who used to donate healthy food to charity once a month. The idea of making a healthy change in people's lives has made me become the chef I am today. I hope that I can help people with my recipe.
