Make Your Own Broth Bowl

Please everyone in the family (even those picky eaters) with these Make Your Own Broth Bowls! Let everyone add their favorite veggies and protein to their Broth Bowls. Do you see an ingredient that you'd like to add? Go for it!

Ingredients
- 2 cups veggie broth
- 5 cups water
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1/4 cup liquid amino (soy sauce)
- 1-1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 3/4 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup diced tomatoes canned or fresh
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups cooked quinoa
- Your choice of finely sliced veggies i.e kale, brussel sprouts, corn, etc.
- Your choice of cooked protein i.e lentils, chicken, tofu, edamame, beef, etc.
Instructions
Prepare broth. Sauté’ onion in a medium pot for 2-3 minutes. Then add all remaining broth ingredients and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to low and cook for 20 minutes.
Prepare bowl. Add a mix rice and quinoa to your bowl. Then add your choice of protein and veggies. Be sure not to fill bowl more than ¾ full to save room for broth.
Using a ladle, pour broth in your bowl and enjoy.
