We're amping up that boring salad with a delicious homemade citrus dressing and fresh ingredients! This asian-style salad makes a perfect on-the-go lunch or light dinner.




  • 1 1/2   cup   orange juice   freshly squeezed or bottled
  • 1 1/4   tsp   ground ginger   for a more intense flavor, use fresh ginger
  • 3/4   tsp   garlic powder
  • 2   tbsp   olive oil
  • 2   tbsp   apple cider vinegar
  • 1   tbsp   rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2   tbsp   tamari or soy sauce
  •       pinch of salt
  • Salad

  •       romaine lettuce   chopped
  •       Carrots   shaved
  •       Edamame
  •       shredded red cabbage
  •       rice or mung bean or jelly noodles
  •       avocado   optional
  •       diced chicken or tofu   optional




Combine all dressing ingredients in a mason jar and shake well. If you don't have a mason jar, add all dressing ingredients into a medium bowl and whisk.

Place salad ingredient on a plate and pour dressing over salad. Make sure not to over dress your salad! Start small and add more if needed.

Store dressing in an air tight container for 1 week.
