Description

I added "riced" cauliflower in with regular rice. I also added a lot of other vegetables that I like to this recipe like red peppers, broccoli, carrots, and edamame. We like to make this recipe for dinner in my house. I didn't know that I liked cauliflower before I first had it with rice.

Ingredients

  • 1   Tbsp   Sesame oil
  • 1   Tbsp   Olive oil
  • 0.5   Cup   Onion   Chopped
  • 1.5   Cups   Mixed frozen vegetables
  • 2   Cloves garlic   Garlic   Minced
  • 1/2   item    Red pepper   Diced
  • 1/2   Cup    Edamame   Shelled
  • 1/2   Cup   Broccoli
  • 12   Oz   Cauliflower    Riced
  • 3/4   Lb   Shrimp   Raw
  • 2      Eggs   Raw
  • 1/4-1/2   Cup   Asian sauce
  •       Salt and pepper   To taste
  • 1.5   Cups   Rice   Cooked

 

 

Instructions

Heat oil, sauté onions, garlic, broccoli, peppers. Add remaining vegetables, shrimp,and rice. Scramble eggs. Add sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!

Why is healthy cooking important to you?  It is important to me because it helps your muscles grow and is better for your teeth. It also helps you not to get sick. I think most healthy foods taste good. My favorite healthy foods are grapes, cauliflower, fish, edamame, lasagna, and smoothies.

I like to cook with my mom and Aunt. Sometimes when my mom is cooking dinner, I help her by cutting vegetables and fruits with a butter knife. I also like to crack eggs and mix for her.
